This page is dedicated to my home. The Mad River Valley in Vermont. This place is amazing, and 500,000 tourist a year shows it! Many people think of this place as a winter only, seasonal residence. That's justified, because the focus is skiing and boarding. Those people need to stay here for a summer. This place has the best swimming you'll ever get in your life. The river that runs through it, the Mad River, has the clearest, cleanest, most refreshing water you'll ever see. I have been to the ocean, and to lakes many times, but I still consider the river the best place to swim.

Skiing

Two ski resorts, 9 mountains, dozens of lifts, hundreds of trails, more than 4,000 feet above sea level. I ski mainly at Sugarbush but there is Mad River Glen too. Sugarbush has two ski areas tied together by a high speed detachable quad that happens to be the fastest lift in North America. It's a great place with tons and tons of woods trails and unmarked woods like "hole in the wall", "Church", and "Airliner".
